Hong Kong · Trading house
Calm trade, from Kowloon to your warehouse.
Ataraxia Trade sources consumer electronics, household plastics, ATVs and electric scooters from manufacturers in Asia and delivers them to importers, wholesalers and retailers in Europe and beyond. We take care of the parts that usually cause turbulence: choosing the factory, approving samples, inspecting goods before shipment and getting the paperwork right.
Four divisions
One house, four trades
Each division has its own suppliers, standards and paperwork. What they share is the way we work: written specifications, approved samples and inspection before anything leaves the factory.

The name
Ataraxia — the absence of turbulence
Ataraxia is an ancient Greek word for a state of calm: freedom from worry and disturbance. Philosophers such as Epicurus considered it the goal of a well-ordered life.
For a trading house, calm is not a mood but a method. It comes from asking the right questions before an order, from inspections instead of hopes, and from agreements that are written down. That is how we want our clients to experience trade with Asia: without turbulence.
Calm is not a mood. It is a method.
Sourcing & quality
Inspected before it ships
The cheapest moment to find a problem is before the container is sealed. Every order goes through checks that we agree with you in advance.
- Supplier verification and, where the order justifies it, a factory audit
- Golden sample approved and kept as a reference
- Pre-shipment inspection based on AQL sampling
- Loading supervision with a photo report
