Ataraxia Trade Co., Limited is a trading company based in San Po Kong, Kowloon. We connect manufacturers in Hong Kong and South China with buyers in Europe and other markets – in four divisions and with one consistent way of working.
Our name
Why ataraxia
In ancient Greek philosophy, ataraxia means tranquillity of mind – a state free from disturbance. We chose the word because it describes what good trade should feel like for our clients.
Calm is not the absence of work. It is the result of preparation: clear specifications, checked suppliers, inspections and agreements that are written down. When those are in place, a container from the other side of the world becomes routine.

Our office is in San Po Kong, one of Kowloon's traditional industrial and trading districts, close to the manufacturers and logistics providers we work with. Visits are by appointment only.
